MAREHAY SHOW 2011!

Saturday 4th September 2010

at The Kestrel Inn and Marehay Chapel
12 noon – 5pm

This year’s event was held at The Kestrel Inn, Upper Marehay Road and Marehay Chapel, Warmwells Lane and was the 23rd show since the show began.

The show attracted a good attendance and entries in many of the classes were up on last year. The event also sported stalls, a dog show, children’s fancy dress competition, children’s activities, games, raffle, a bouncy castle, vehicle display, spinner demonstrations and live entertainment.

See some of the entries into the scarecrow competition, which many local Marehay villagers took part in.

Funds raised from this year’s show, and other forthcoming social events,are being donated to Motor Neurone Disease and Maple Leaf House. Maple Leaf House were very grateful for our support last year as they receive few donations. Both charities were suggested at the AGM open meeting earlier in the year.
