Entry fee

Entries are just 25p per exhibit, except the scarecrow competition which is £1 and children’s classes which are FREE. Children also receive a prize for every entry.

Juniors to state age when entering. Pending entries junior classes may be split into age 8 and under and entrants aged 9 – 15 years old.

Prize money
Cards will be placed on exhibits following judging to indicate class winners and runners up. Prize money will be paid out from 4pm. The cards are yours to keep and may be taken home with exhibits.

Adult classes 1st prize £3, 2nd prize £2, 3rd prize £1
Children’s classes 1st prize £2, 2nd prize £1, 3rd prize 50p

Trophies
Points (3, 2 and 1) are awarded to entrants gaining 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. Trophies are available for entrants that gain the most points in each section (except Chrysanthemums), e.g. fruit, flowers, home produce and there's also a trophy for most points gained in show. Special awards are also available for:

Chrysanthemums
Floral Art
Leeks

Trophy winners will be announced and trophies presented at 4pm in the main arena at The Kestrel.
All trophies are to be returned to the schedule secretary by 1st August 2011.

Entrants will be advised where to display their entry for judging. All exhibits and their staging items at the show remain at the owners own risk Exhibitors to provide their own vases, plates etc.

Judging will take place between 12 noon and approx 1pm (subject to judges), after which time exhibition areas will be open for public viewing. The judges decision is final.

Entry to exhibition areas
Entry to exhibition areas is by programme only (one per family / small group). Programmes will be on sale for £1. Programmes will be on sale prior to the show from The Kestrel and Marehay Chapel.
